SUMMIT TO TACKLE YOUTH RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE During "National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Week" The Office of the Fulton County District Attorney is sponsoring a three day summit to address what a U. S. Senate Resolution calls "the tragedy and pervasiveness of teen dating violence in our communities." Attached is a news release outlining details of the summit. Highlights include panel discussions and workshops conducted by teen dating violence experts at Spelman College on Friday, February 8th and at Georgia Tech's Women's Resource Center on Saturday, February 9th. Family members of several of the recent murder victims will share their stories. Please join Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. and summit co-sponsors for a news conference, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fulton County Courthouse. Relatives of victims Clara Riddles, murdered at CNN Center in April 2007 and Kendra Mason, shot to death at Greenbriar Mall in June 2007, will be in attendance. This summit is a must for parents.
