BROTHER CONVICTED OF MOLESTING THREE YOUNG SISTERS
Defendant and Victims Test Positive for STD
Atlanta- A Fulton County jury has returned a guilty verdict in the child molestation case against 21-year old Terry Moss of Atlanta. Moss was convicted of multiple charges including Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Rape and Incest for sex crimes against his three young half-sisters ages 12, 8, and 5.
The molestation was uncovered during a family outing at the beach in July of 2005. The defendants girlfriend became concerned with a foul genital discharge coming from the 8-year old girl. The child was taken to the hospital where a nurse contacted the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). The girl subsequently tested positive for gonorrhea as did her two sisters and the defendant. The children eventually disclosed to family members, counselors and DFCS representatives that they had been repeatedly molested by their brother for almost two years. One of the incidents happened in a single night when the defendant raped all three sisters from oldest to youngest.
Jurors deliberated 2 ½ hours before returning their guilty verdicts. Terry Moss will be sentenced at a later date by Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford, Jr. who presided over the case.
Senior Assistant District Attorney Tammi Fuller of the Crimes Against Women and Children (CAWAC) Unit was the lead prosecutor with assistance from ADAs Lee Williams and Geniece Granville. DA Investigator Crispin Henry led the internal investigation.
