State vs. Jonathan Robinson (Alleged Serial Rapist)

Defendant Robinson is on trial for the rape of three women. Robinson was arrested following the September 2004 rape of woman whose attacker drove her to secluded area off Hendrix Road in Atlanta and forcibly had sex with her. Defendant Robinson was later implicated in two other rapes dating back to March 2000 and May 1999 following CODIS hits linking his DNA to the other crimes. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams is presiding, courtroom 5C. Opening statements begin this morning.
