Punctual Probationer Gets Life Without Parole Following Third Conviction Larrion Dickerson, Wanted for Cocaine Trafficking,
Arrested AtlantaFulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. (Atlanta Judicial Circuit) announces that, following his conviction, Larrion Dickerson (31) has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. He was found guilty earlier this week of trafficking in cocaine. Dickerson had rented a house at 1133 Metropolitan Parkway in southwest Atlanta using a false name and established a crack house at the location. Following the execution of a search warrant on 9 June 2004, over 70 grams of cocaine were recovered from the house, though the defendant had slipped out. He was later apprehended when he reported for a probation appointment. Dickerson had been dealing drugs in the Zone 3 neighborhood for over a decade, all within a one-mile radius. Senior Assistant District Attorney Shepard Orlow prosecuted the case. Jimmy Knox of the District Attorneys Office investigated. Senior Judge Tracy Moulton (sitting for Judge T. Jackson Bedford) presided.
