Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard AnnouncesGuilty Plea in Teen Pimping Case

"Hollywood" Sentenced to 15 Years, $20,000 Fine

Atlanta-Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr. (Atlanta Judicial Circuit) announces that, following his guilty plea, Michael Davis aka "Hollywood" (42) has been sentenced to 15 years in prison, fined $20,000, and must perform 1,000 hours of community service for the sexual exploitation of two girls. The prison time is to be served consecutive to a five-year sentence the defendant received in Federal Court on similar charges. Davis pleaded guilty to pimping (two counts), child molestation, false imprisonment (two counts), statutory rape (two counts), pandering by compulsion (two counts), and cruelty to children in the second degree (two counts).

Davis held the two victims-both 14-year-old runaways-against their wills at his apartment at 3072 Washington Road in East Point from 13 September to 15 September 2000. He then forced them to engage in sexual activity with various men, who paid Davis. A search of the apartment uncovered an album of numerous photos of girls who appear to range in age from four to 18 years old in sexually explicit and suggestive poses.

Senior Assistant District Attorney Antje Kingma prosecuted the case, East Point Police Detective R. Walker investigated, and Judge Gino Brogdon presided.
