ACCUSED TRIPLE MURDERER INDICTED Demetrius Willis Charged in June Homicides Atlanta-Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announces the indictment today of Demetrius G. Willis of Clarksdale, Mississippi on three counts of murder, nine counts of felony murder, one count of burglary and five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated assault, one count of cruelty to children in the first degree, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The charges arise from the murders of two adults and a two-year-old boy on Monday morning, June 28, 2004, at 1636 Westwood Avenue in Atlanta. Three other children were in the home at the time, two of them were injured. They are Willis ten-year-old daughter, Quinsha Hankins and 6-year-old Cora Hankins, Quinshas half-sister. Both are daughters of Talisa Hankins, Willis former girlfriend. She, her boyfriend and their two-year-old son were murdered. Willis was arrested in Mississippi after fleeing Fulton County.
