COLD CASE ON COMCAST
Cable Network Spotlights Fulton County Cases, Asks for Publics Help
Atlanta- Beginning Thursday, September 3, 2009, The Fulton County District Attorneys Multi-Agency Cold Case Squad will be featured on the Comcast Cable Network. Comcast is airing a series of profiles on cold cases currently under investigation by the DAs special unit.
Subscribers to the cable provider can access the programming by first selecting Channel 1 (On Demand), then Get Local, next Police Blotter and finally Cold Cases. Viewers will able to watch profiles of 12-cases narrated by members of the Cold Case Unit and leave anonymous tips via a toll-free tip line if they choose to do so. The profiles include the 1973 rape and stabbing death of nine year-old Sherri Lyn Swalley, the rape and shooting death of 14-year old Nacole Smith in 1995, and the 2003 disappearance of Dymashal Cullins, the 32-year old mother of six.
The Cold Case tip line is (1-888-OLD-TIPS) or 1-888-653-8477. Rewards for information are being offered in several cases. The Multi-Agency Cold Case Squad is staffed by law enforcement officials from Atlanta, East Point and Fulton County and includes prosecutors and investigators from the Office of the Fulton County District Attorney.
