ATLANTA MAN GUILTY IN MOLESTATION OF YOUNG SISTERS

State vs. Glenn Bruton

Atlanta- A Fulton County Jury has returned a guilty verdict in the Child Molestation case against 55-year old Glenn Bruton. The defendant was convicted today of Child Molestation, Aggravated Child Molestation and Aggravated Sexual Battery for the 2006 incident involving a four-year old girl and her two-year old younger sister.

On the day of the incident, the children’s mother left them at home in the care of an adult cousin and Mr. Bruton who was later left alone with the girls. The mother returned home to find the victims in bed with the defendant. She noticed the girls had on different clothes and that the older child was wearing no underwear. She immediately called the police who arrested Bruton on the scene. He claimed the children were crying to sleep with him so he put them in his bed.

Following the verdict against him, Bruton was sentenced to 25-years in prison.
