GRAND JURY INDICTS SUSPECTS IN ROSWELL ARMED ROBBERY Video Surveillance Captured Deadly Crime Atlanta- Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. announces the grand jury indictment today of three metro Atlanta men for a deadly armed robbery at a Roswell grocery store earlier this year. David Luna (31), Samuel Boyce (30) and 25-year old Joel Douglas are each charged with Murder, Felony Murder, two counts of Armed Robbery, five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. According to investigators, the suspects robbed the Azteca Grocery Store on Alpharetta Street in Roswell on January 26, 2008. During the robbery, the owner, Lydia Alvarado, was shot in the chest and died a short time later at the hospital. The suspects took money and other valuables from the store and also robbed a customer-stealing his wallet and cell phone---before fleeing the scene. Part of the crime was caught on a store security camera before the suspects spray painted the lens. The men were partially disguised but one of the suspects was identified by a witness who later came forward. Authorities say Samuel Boyce, who is in the Clayton County jail on another armed robbery charge, confessed to the crime and implicated the other defendants. Investigators have recovered the murder weapon. Media Contact: Yvette Brown, 404-224-0560/404-392-8867,
