PIMP CONVICTED OF MURDERING FELLOW PIMP Travion Reid Sentenced to Life Plus 5 Years in Prison AtlantaFulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announces the conviction and sentencing of 29-year-old Travion Reid on malice murder, two counts of felony murder, attempted armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The Fulton County Superior Court jury returned its guilty verdicts Friday, October 20th. Fellow pimp Cheyenne Morgan was killed December 30, 2003 in a trailer park off Cleveland Avenue in Atlanta. Witnesses say Reidarmed with an AK-47 slung around his neckapproached a prostitute who was working for Morgan. When the young woman went to Morgan for protection, Reid followed telling Morgan to empty his pockets. The 20-year-old Morgan was shot and killed by the defendant when he failed to promptly comply with the demand. Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville sentenced the defendant to life plus 5 years. This case was investigated and prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Fani Willis, ADA Jeffrey Brown, Fulton County District Attorney Investigators Nick Degennaro and Michael Cooke, Victim-Witness Advocate Natalie Head and Atlanta Police Department Lead Detective Mark Cooper.
