DISTRICT ATTORNEY PAUL HOWARD ANNOUNCES GUILTY PLEA HENRY AARON SENTENCED TO LIFE FOR STABBING FORMER GIRLFRIEND TWELVE TIMES Atlanta-Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard, Jr. (Atlanta Judicial Circuit) announces that, following his guilty plea, Henry Aaron (47) has been sentenced to life in prison for the vicious 22 May 2004 stabbing death of Celestine Hudgins (41). Aaron pleaded guilty to felony murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. Upset that the victim had ended their romantic relationship, Aaron went to the Lakewood Christian Manor Assisted Living Center at 2141 Springdale Road in southwest Atlanta where Ms. Hudgins was visiting with a male friend. He stabbed the victim at least a dozen times. Senior Assistant District Attorney Shondeana Crews prosecuted
the case, and Judge John Goger presided.
