Records

The District Attorney’s Records Department is the custodian of records, evidence, and archives. Some of its duties include sending and receiving correspondence and other documents to internal court departments and other external agencies. These may include court calendars, detainers, notices of cases not presented to the Grand Jury or “no billed,” bonds, warrants, and other documents. The Records Department is also

responsible for preparing case files for trial.
